Gifted & Talented
COMPETITION CLUBS & TEAMS
There's more to competition than winning. It's about discovering what you can accomplish along the way.
At Gifted & Talented, we believe some of the most meaningful learning happens when students are encouraged to challenge themselves, think creatively, and solve problems—whether independently or as part of a team.

Whether preparing for an individual competition or working collaboratively toward a shared goal, students develop critical thinking, creativity, perseverance, and valuable skills that extend far beyond the competition itself.

Registration is available for select programs, with additional opportunities being developed based on student interests and family feedback.

Math Kangaroo USA
Turn Math Into a Brain Sport! 🦘
Â
Math Kangaroo Club takes mathematics beyond traditional worksheets through engaging logic challenges, visual-spatial reasoning, number puzzles, geometry, patterns, and contest-style problem solving.
Â
During weekly 60-minute sessions, students learn to approach unfamiliar problems creatively, test different strategies, explain their reasoning, and build confidence tackling increasingly complex mathematical challenges. Activities may include logic sprints, team whiteboard relays, hands-on problem solving, spatial puzzles, and Math Kangaroo-style questions.
Â
Designed for students in Grades 1–5, activities provide developmentally appropriate challenges while also helping interested students prepare for the 2027 Math Kangaroo USA Competition.

SeaPerch Competitive Robotics Club
Build It. Wire It. Dive It. Take the Plunge into Underwater Robotics! 🌊🤖
Â
SeaPerch is an internationally recognized underwater robotics program that challenges students to design, build, test, and pilot their own Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).
Â
Students won’t simply snap together a pre-made robot. Teams will work through the engineering process from the ground up—measuring and cutting PVC for their ROV chassis, working with electrical components and control systems, waterproofing motors to create thrusters, and testing and refining their designs throughout the season.
Â
Students will work in teams of three and take on different roles throughout the program as they develop skills in engineering, problem-solving, technical documentation, teamwork, and competition strategy.
Â
Program Length: 14 Weeks
Dates: December 5, 2026 – April 3, 2027
Meets: Saturdays
Class Length: 2.5 Hours
Pay-in-Full Tuition: $700
Family Membership Tuition: $630 with eligible 10% membership discount when paid in full
Payment Plan: $750 total — 5 monthly payments of $150

Â
Grades 5–8
Saturdays | 10:00 AM–12:30 PM
Â
Students will work in teams of three to design, construct, wire, test, and pilot an underwater ROV while exploring:
Â
• Engineering and the design process
• Underwater robotics
• Electrical systems and circuitry
• Buoyancy and ballast
• Propulsion and thruster placement
• Hydrodynamics and maneuverability
• Testing and troubleshooting
• Technical documentation
• Teamwork and communication
• Competition strategy
Â
Throughout the season, teams will continually test and refine their ROVs as they prepare for the regional SeaPerch competition.
Â
Regional competition details, including the official date and location, will be shared with enrolled families once the 2027 regional schedule is confirmed.
Â
Ready to enroll?
Join us for a season of building, engineering, teamwork, and underwater robotics!
Â
SeaPerch is a fixed-term competitive program. Enrollment is for the complete 14-week season. Space is limited, and students will work in teams of three. The monthly payment option is an installment plan for the full program tuition and does not create month-to-month enrollment.
