Not at all! Gifted & Talented welcomes children of all abilities, interests, and learning backgrounds.While the idea for our studio was inspired by the enrichment opportunities traditionally offered through gifted education programs in schools, our philosophy is that every individual has gifts or talents when given opportunities to discover, explore, and develop them.We wanted to create a place where children could dive deeper into subjects they're passionate about, discover interests they may not have explored before, and connect with peers and educators who share their enthusiasm.Children do not need a gifted designation, test scores, or placement in a gifted education program to participate.

Gifted & Talented is not a childcare or recreation center. We're an educational enrichment studio with programs developed and led by certified educators to complement traditional schooling.Our focus is on providing opportunities for students to explore subjects in greater depth, including topics that may receive limited attention in traditional classrooms.Through hands-on experiences, collaborative projects, and interest-driven learning, children can pursue their passions, develop new skills, and connect with peers who share their interests and enthusiasm.

Absolutely! We welcome students from public schools, private schools, charter schools, and homeschool families.Our programs provide opportunities for homeschool students to explore specialized subjects, participate in collaborative projects, and build friendships with peers who share their interests.

Yes! Gifted & Talented is a Step Up For Students provider.Depending on your child's scholarship type, available funds, and program eligibility, certain educational enrichment programs may qualify for scholarship funding.We encourage families interested in using their scholarship funds to contact us before enrolling to discuss payment options.Scholarship coverage is subject to Step Up For Students requirements and is not guaranteed for every program.

We're working on it!We believe every child deserves opportunities to explore their interests, discover their talents, and develop their abilities, regardless of financial circumstances.We're currently developing our own scholarship and sponsorship program to help make our educational enrichment opportunities accessible to more families.Our upcoming scholarship page will allow educators and community members to recommend children who could benefit from these opportunities. Absolutely! Gifted & Talented welcomes children of all abilities, interests, and educational backgrounds, including students attending public, private, charter, and homeschool programs.Enrollment is open to everyone, subject to each program's age or grade requirements and availability.

Our educational enrichment programs are primarily designed for students in Pre-K through 12th grade, with offerings tailored to different ages, abilities, and interests.We also offer Toddler & Preschool Open Play for children ages 1–5 and plan to introduce daytime caregiver-and-me programs for our youngest learners.

We're just getting started!Since opening our doors in 2026, we've been introducing special events, workshops, and seasonal activities, with many of our ongoing enrichment programs expected to begin in January 2027.We're continually developing new opportunities based on the interests and needs of the families we serve. We understand that schedules can be busy and that finding programs that fit your family's availability isn't always easy.If you don't see a program, grade level, or schedule that works for your family, we'd love to hear from you!Please complete one of our interest forms or Community Interest Survey to share what you're looking for. Your feedback helps us understand what families are interested in and guides us as we develop future programs.

Not necessarily! Many of our programs welcome beginners who are curious about exploring something new.Whether your child is discovering an interest for the first time or already has a passion they'd like to pursue further, we aim to provide opportunities for them to learn, practice, and develop their skills.Some specialized programs and competition teams may have specific age, grade, or experience requirements.

Supervision requirements depend on the program.Our toddler and preschool open play sessions require a parent or caregiver to remain on-site and supervise their child.Other enrichment classes, workshops, and camps may offer drop-off participation. Please review the individual program details for specific requirements.

Yes! Families with an active annual membership receive 10% off Open Play reservations, along with other membership benefits and discounts on eligible programs.

No! Families can participate in many of our programs without purchasing an annual membership.We also offer annual memberships that provide additional benefits and discounts on eligible programs and services.

Yes! We love welcoming our younger siblings!Open Play is complimentary for siblings ages 1–5 while an older sibling participates in one of our programs, subject to space availability.A parent or caregiver must remain on-site to supervise children participating in Open Play.

We recommend calling, texting, or emailing before visiting to confirm availability.Our regularly scheduled Open Play hours are generally between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, but availability may vary.Don't see a time on our calendar that works for your family? We'd love to accommodate you! Feel free to reach out to request an alternative day or time, and we'll do our best to arrange a visit based on availability.

We plan to offer Exploration Days on most school-out days throughout the school year, along with camps during major school breaks, including Thanksgiving, winter, spring, and summer.Our Exploration Days give children opportunities to enjoy hands-on activities, creative projects, and educational experiences while school is out.Specific dates and availability will be announced as programs are scheduled, so be sure to check our calendar for upcoming opportunities!
